EPIA recently presented the SET For 2020 study at a number of dedicated events in Brussels, Madrid and Milan (see further below for more information).

Belgium, Brussels, 4 November: This event has now taken place. EPIA participated in a
very well attended debate that was hosted by the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) entitled “Implementing the EU’s Renewable Energy Targets for 2020”. Other panelists included representatives of the European Commission (Regulatory policy & Promotion of renewable energy, DG TREN), the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) and E.ON. Spain, Madrid, 19 November: This event has now taken place. EPIA organized a conference on the Future of the Photovoltaic energy and its impact in the Spanish market. The event was hosted by the Spanish Energy Club, Enerclub, and was attended by more than 100 representatives from the Spanish Institutions, media, energy and financial sectors, PV industry, trade unions, law firms, consultancies, etc. During the conference, EPIA presented the SET For 2020 study in collaboration with the Spanish Photovoltaic Industry Associations who supported the study and gave an introduction about the status of the Photovoltaic market in Spain. Italy, Milan, 25 November: This event has now taken place. An event on the SET For 2020 study was organised by EPIA at the EnerSolar+ fair together with the Italian associations Confindustria – ANIE/GIFI (Gruppo Imprese Fotovoltaiche Italiane) and Assosolare. Speakers included representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development , A.T. Kearney Italy and the Secretary General of EPIA. Over 250 participants from different energy sectors attended the event, where the key role of Italy to achieve the 12% paradigm shift scenario was underlined together with the most important findings of the Set For 2020 study.
